Frequently asked questions
Do you accept insurance?
No. Hope & Bloom is a self-pay practice. You'll receive a written Good Faith Estimate before services begin, and a reduced Community Access Rate is available if the standard rate isn’t workable for you.
How much does therapy cost?
Individual sessions run from $105 (30-minute phone) to $190 (60-minute video). Couples and family sessions are $210, and a diagnostic intake is $225. Plans and optional add-ons are built with you, and you'll receive a written Good Faith Estimate before you start. Recurring plans can save 5–9% compared with booking a la carte. A reduced Community Access Rate is available.
Can I pay with an HSA or FSA card?
Yes. Payments are taken by secure text-to-pay through Ivy Pay, which accepts HSA and FSA cards as well as credit and debit cards. Therapy with a licensed clinician is generally an eligible expense, but check with your plan administrator about what they require.
Can I get reimbursed by my insurance?
Possibly. We don't bill insurance, but you can ask for a superbill to submit to your own plan for out-of-network reimbursement. Whether you're reimbursed, and how much, depends on your plan's out-of-network benefits and isn't guaranteed. Insurers require a diagnosis, which is shared with them when you file, and only therapy sessions (not coaching, case management, or text support) can be submitted. Check your benefits first, and ask us if you'd like to talk it through.
What is the Community Access Rate?
A reduced rate for any client for whom the standard rate isn’t currently workable, whether you’re uninsured, underinsured, or insured. No proof of income, insurance status, or immigration status is required. Your provider sets the rate with you at intake, and spots are limited by provider capacity. Just ask.
Where are you licensed to practice?
I'm licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Colorado, and I only provide therapy services to clients physically located in Colorado at the time of each session.
Is everything really by telehealth?
Yes. All therapy, coaching, and consultation services are provided remotely, by secure video or phone. There's no physical office location.
What languages do you work in?
English, Spanish, or a mix of both, whatever's most comfortable for you.
How do I get started?
Reach out through the Contact page or book a free consultation call. We'll talk through what you're looking for and build a plan together.
Is this appropriate for a mental health emergency?
No. This website and our telehealth services are not monitored for emergencies. If you're in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
I'm a therapist interested in consultation. How is that different from supervision?
Consultation here is educational and peer-based. It's not a substitute for formal, state-mandated clinical supervision. It's a space to think through bilingual and bicultural practice questions with another clinician.
